Royal Lion - Lyme Regis -
Now Thomson! my dear Mr Thomson!
It isn't fair is it to spoil the look of my little guineas! - What do you think?
Look here you have a splendid affair in the "Cottages" - and dont you be in a hurry about it - You will certainly sell it when your American Clients [p. 2] come over for four or five hundred at least - and if you keep it long enough for more -
The little "Bathers" - "Blue & Silver" - I think will be very much liked - and a good thing -
Only I have as you know not much sympathy with the house in Paris! They dont know how to look at these things - and they show them abominably - - You say nothing about my frames! - Can't you have them done?
Also have you not seen my Carmen? - It is a beauty - and when two or three years have gone over it the people will begin to see it - like all the rest -
D. C. Thomson - Esq -
