'21/1/84[3]'

My dear Deschamp [sic] -

Do send me a line to tell me that the things got off all right for Bruxelles[4] - also any news you have of their safe arrival -

What about Galleries? Galerries? Galerries and Games? -

Also tell me of the Election at the Hogarth Club[5] - I want to know if it all went well with my Candidate Menpes[6]? -

I have a letter from the Insurance [people?] [p. 2] Shall I send them the cheqke cheque at once - or wait until I hear from you whether the Societé des XX mean to pay? -

I am getting tired of this place as you may well imagine -

Yours Always -

J McNeill Whistler

14. Barnoon Terrace -
St Ives Cornwall -

Has it been made all right about the Catalogue[7]?
