Dear Mr Whistler

The "Fête on the Sands[2]" crossed the Atlantic safely, and is now at my house, where we are all much delighted with it. The new frame is very charming also, as well as unexpected -

Messrs Houghton & Gunn[3] of Bond St were to send [p. 2] two photographs to you, which Mrs Whistler[4] said she should like to have. I hope you will receive them in good condition

With many thanks for all your labors on my behalf, and with kind regards from my daughter[5] and myself to Mrs Whistler and to you

Yours Sincerely

E. W. Hooper
