24th [Feby?] 1863
haveing [sic] been last evening informed by a Gentleman from your Office that you wished to know if I would let No. 7 Lindsey Row Chelsea to a Mr Wistler [sic] for 3 Years I beg to say that I should consider any one
in whome [sic] you recommended as a very eligable [sic] Tenant - on a former occasion of [p. 2] Mr Wistler applying his references were not sufficient - and he required too many alterations and I declined him - if you think the letting likely to be satisfactory as between Landlord & Tenant I shall be quite satisfied
Yours very truly
I. H. Keene
