My dear Whistler

I went to Southampton & Norwich last week & before I left I wrote to Mr Keene[3] thinking it might expedite the matter - I have not received a reply - If possible I will go over to him tomorrow & see the cause of delay. It was not desirable I thought when I saw Mr Keene to say much about alterations or repairs as he told me he was doing some of the things I knew you required especially he mentioned the shutters.

Yours very truly

J. Anderson Rose

J Whistler Esq
