Walham Green - beside the little house from the old days -

I shall return in any case in half an hour - to take you to dine at the Vale -

Also tomorrow come and see the studio at about three or four o'clock

Dated by addresses mentioned. In 1883 JW was living briefly at 448 Fulham Road. On 11 October 1884 he leased a studio at 454A Fulham Road and moved in during December. JW and Maud Franklin were living at the 'Pink Palace', The Vale, Chelsea, by February 1885. He gave up the Vale and Fulham Road studio in the summer of 1888.
