[RELEASE OF GUARDIAN, EXECUTOR, TRUSTEE, &c.]

PRINTED AND SOLD BY J. ROBINSON, 117 BALTIMORE STREET.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT

I James A Whistler have received from George W Whistler my guardian appointed by the Probate Court of Windsor County in the State of Connecticut (and for the district of Pomfret) have received the sum of five thousand dollars being in full of all sums of money due and owing to me, or to which I could in any manner have a claim as ward of said guardian under the appointment aforesaid

AND IN CONSIDERATION THEREOF, I DO HEREBY RELEASE, ACQUIT, EXONORATE AND DISCHARGE THE SAID George W Whistler[,] his HEIRS, EXECUTORS AND ADMINISTRATORS, OF AND FROM ALL AND EVERY ACTION, SUIT, CLAIM OR DEMAND WHICH COULD OR MIGHT POSSIBLY BE BROUGHT, EXHIBITED OR PROSECUTED AGAINST him or THEM, OR ANY OF THEM FOR OR ON ACCOUNT OF the said guardianship and the said sum of money OR THE PAYMENT THEREOF, HEREBY DECLARING mySELf FULLY SATISFIED, CONTENTED AND PAID, AS ABOVE SPECIFIED. GIVEN UNDER my HAND AND SEAL THIS 30th DAY OF July IN THE YEAR EIGHTEEN HUNDRED AND fifty five

BE IT REMEMBERED, AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED THAT, ON 30th DAY OF July IN THE YEAR EIGHTEEN HUNDRED AND fifty five BEFORE ME THE SUBSCRIBER, ONE OF THE JUSTICES OF THE PEACE OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, IN AND FOR THE SAID City PERSONALLY APPEARED James A Whistler PARTY TO THE ABOVE RELEASE OR INSTRUMENT OF WRITING, AND ACKNOWLEDGED THE SAME TO BE H[is] ACT AND DEED, ACCORDING TO THE TRUE INTENT AND MEANING THEREOF. AND I DO HEREBY CERTIFY, THAT of my own knowledge I AM SATISFIED THAT THE SAID James A Whistler WHO HAth ACKNOWLEDGED THE ABOVE RELEASE is THE PARTY NAMED AND DESCRIBED AS, AND PROFESSING TO BE, THE PARTY IN AND TO THE SAID RELEASE.
