110 Rue du Bac -
My dear Miss Reubell -
Trixie is not very well this afternoon and is lying down - She bids me write and tell you that the breakfast for to-morrow has sadly come to grief! Mr Clark cannot come, and it is very uncertain about Dr Herbert - Therefore we want you to come next Sunday (the 28th) instead.
Do manage this, and we will get together a party worthy for the occasion.
I called the other afternoon - but you were out - There are now such a lot of things to talk about! we must see you soon! -
With kindest regards from both,
J. McN. Whistler
