Dear Huish -
I beg to acknowledge cheque for twenty guineas for
printing four dozen - Venice proofs -
In these matters I have already pointed out
to you that little Mr Browne has the inspiration of genius! - and my experience with the Society has greatly sharpened my immediate perceptions - also much I prefer other steps methods now to correspondence however brilliant [p. 2] and so Mr Hanson my secretary was told to make this detail of [ p?] the twenty guineas not pounds Clear beyond possibility of further writing - This especially after I had called myself some couple of weeks ago or more and told Mr Dunn to of the error - and begged that cheque properly made out should might be in [readiness?]
