We waited for you today - though we scarcely expected you in such rain.

Look in on Friday - at the usual time - but not tomorrow. Did Hollyer[3] try the photograph? It wont of course come out really beautifully until the picture is varnished - and it is too soon for that yet -

By the way have you seen anything of the busy Keppel[4]??

I have had from him not a word so far -

Constant[5] will be bringing back with him several things I fancy - And we shall see -
