Dear Mr. Whistler,
You will be pleased to hear that the Portrait is sold, our client wishes to have a little tablet fixed to the frame, with your name, and the title of the picture, he would be greatly obliged if you will be so good as to name [p. 2] the title, we shall have to trouble you on your return to swear the consular declaration so that the portrait may be free of duty,
