110, RUE DU BAC.
1. [13/20 April 1898?]
This was written on a visiting card with a mourning border, thus dating from after the death of Beatrix Whistler (1857-1896), née Beatrice Philip, artist [more], or of William McNeill Whistler (1836-1900), physician, JW's brother [more]. It may date from Maxse's trip to Paris in April 1898 (see his letter to JW, 11 April , #02296).
