Notes:

1.  [8/30 January 1887]
This list has been written by JW on the reverse side of a letter sent by R. P. Fable of Goodwin and Tabb, Universal Music Library, to Mr Macknay. The contents of this letter bear no relevance to JW apart from the date on the letter, 'Jany 7 1887', which has been adopted as the date of JW's list (although this would have to be only the earliest possible date for JW's list).

2.  Walter Dowdeswell
Walter Dowdeswell (1858-1929), art dealer [more].

3.  Bridge 12
The list indicates the number of impressions printed at that date for A Set of twenty-six etchings of Venice, 1886 (the second 'Venice set') (K.196-216, 233-237). (excat 6).
