Dear Mr Dowdeswell -
Impossible to get to Bond St. tonight by half past seven, & as I understood your note to mean that you could not be later yourself I worked out the rough copy of Catalogue at home -
I send it to you by post - please have copy made at once and returned to me tomorrow, that I may improve upon it - Meanwhile have proof struck off immediately and send - The Butterfly for cover might be borrowed from the Printer of the "World" - it has been lent before -
Messrs Something - Pancras Road - look at a copy of the World - I have forgotten -
Now when the room is
Now I shall just go on working - and when I come to the gallery it must be in the evening -
However that we can settle upon in a day or two - The patterns will send tomorrow -
Now - Immediately must have three more frames - So let May have the sizes on the other half sheet -

JW had several letters published in the journal, The World. The printer may have been Robson and Sons, 20 Pancras Road.
Dowdeswell's rooms were designed as an Arrangement in Flesh-colour and Grey in 1884 and an Arrangement in Brown and Gold in 1886.
