He was lending Purple and Rose: The Lange Leizen of the Six Marks (YMSM 47) to Nocturnes, Marines and Chevalet Pieces, Boussod, Valadon & Cie, Goupil Gallery, London, 1892. He did not lend it to a show in Paris, but sold it in 1893 to John Graver Johnson (1841-1917), lawyer and collector [more].
