RARE PRINTS
868 B'WAY N- Y-

Dec. 19th 1893.

Dear Mr. Whistler,

Much to my disappointment no lithographs have come by latest post from France, nor any answer to my several letters[4]. I must say that I did not expect to be ignored in this way, as I certainly expected to deliver some orders by Xmas. If you have not already shipped the prints direct, send them on a roller by post to Lauser[5] 25 Garrick St. W. C. London, who will send them here.

Thanking you in advance, I am, with best regards to Mrs. Whistler[6]

I am very truly,

E. G. Kennedy.

See E. G. Kennedy to JW, 10 and 20 November 1893 (#07223 and #07224), in which he places orders for further lithographs. JW wrote to Kennedy the following day (#09711), presumably before he received this letter from New York, to say that he had just shipped the prints. In that letter JW also refers to Kennedy's postcards of 5 and 9 December, which have not been located.

5.  Lauser
