RARE PRINTS

Nov. 10th 1893.

Dear Mr. Whistler,

I have the lithographs and one etching of "The Balcony[3]". This print I already have in stock. I should have been more specific and asked you for "The Balcony - Venice[4]", which is the subject I want. I would have kept this, but I have one already, and business is very dull yet. There has not been any memo. of prices received for the lithos. . Perhaps it will come by next post. I admire the lithos. very much and when they are stretched and mounted, I hope to do well with them. How about the French etchings? When do you expect to have them in readiness? However, just now, it is a bad time, but later it will im-[p. 2]prove, I hope.

The etchings have come back from Chicago[5] and been returned to their owners. The Exhibit was a great success in every way.

Expecting to hear from you soon, I am with best regards to yourself and Mrs. Whistler[6],

Yours Sincerely,

E. G. Kennedy.

J. McN. Whistler Esq,
Paris, France.
