110. Rue du Bac.

Mardi Soir.

But this terrible weather! -

It was thought most unwise that I should run any risks "at present"! - and all explanations are to be made to you on Saturday -

With kindest regards & remembrances from us all to all of you[4].
Always

Translation:

Would you believe dear friend and great traveller,

That the distance be somewhat exaggerated to tempt you to come as far as the studio (rue Notre Dame des Champs. 86) - in case you had forgotten!) this coming Saturday, at 4 o' clock - or 4.30? -

We can then begin some research! - and we will return to dine together and chat a little of many things here. - I had the firm intention of arranging all of this with you this evening - for I promised myself, after your departure, to be present for your triumphant return amongst us! -

But this terrible weather! -

It was thought most unwise that I should run any risks "at present"! - and all explanations are to be made to you on Saturday -

With kindest regards & remembrances from us all to all of you[5].
Always
