Dear Sir.

Agreeably to your note of Jany last[4] I send per post - the boards are addressed and stamped for return - Sheet from the portfolio and shall be obliged by your writing your own and the owner's name - T. G. Arthur[5] - on it. You might improve upon the following:- This Set of my Etchings of Venice - Second Series - were Selected for T G. Arthur. Esquire.

Mr Arthur is making a collecting your etchings, and I should like to know if you can supply copies of the earlier and scarcer prints.

I might get list from Mr Arthur of those in his collection and call upon you when in town.

Your kind attention will greatly oblige.
