Le Jury était composé de M. M. le Prof Aug. Allebé[3], J. C. Greive[4] Je., Jos. Israëls[5], J. Maris[6], J. H. Maschhaupt[7], H. W. Mesdag[8] et J. J. van de Sande Bakhuyzen[9].

La médaille vous sera expediée sous peu.

We have the honour to inform you, that the Jury, assigned to award the Medals of the city of Amsterdam to artists who have taken part in the Exhibition of Fine Arts, has just awarded you the gold Medal for your collection of pictures and etchings at this Exhibition.

The Jury comprised Prof Aug. Allebé, J. C. Greive Jr., Jos. Israëls, J. Maris, J. H. Maschhaupt, H. W. Mesdag and J. J. van de Sande Bakhuyzen.

The medal will be sent to you shortly.
