Dear Whistler

Strangely delectable is the first of your "Songs on Stone[4]" It is in sooth a very witching air, and I believe myself to be one of "the rare few" who appreciate its subtle melody

[p. 2] I showed it round here to a good many that happened to be present when the paper arrived, and you b may be pleased to hear that all were of the "few"

Tom Angell[5] became quite spoony

Yours very gratefully

W Fisher
