5.  landlord's agent
The agent for Robert Booth Latter (d. 1869), solicitor and landlord of 2 Lindsey Row, later 96 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea [more]. The agent may have been Robert Low (b. ca 1837), of Robert and J. E. Low, house agents and surveyors [more], who appears on JW's list of creditors (see #11926).

6.  lease
JW's lease at Cheyne Walk finished on 25 June 1878 when he was to be replaced as tenant by Morse. However, JW's move to his new studio home, the White House seems to have been delayed and he did not move in until later in the summer.
