You are astonished my dear Ingram at having nothing from me -
I am, I need not say, full of those matters various - and certainly hoped to have seen my valiant lieutenant long before now -
However even [name left blank] had his excuse - and so if the movement that was to have succeeded between you and Holyoake, came to absolute grief as it did you will
realise explain it by and bye.
The Exhibition of your President's works [has?] an amazing chance of never occurring in the Suffolk Street Galleries at all - and for other items you will find Menpes the wise excellent as reference.
