Dear Sir.

H. R. H. Prince Eugene[3] requestes [sic] me to thank you for the kind letter, just received. His Royal Highness, who above all wishes to come at a time that will suit you, is very sorry to have His afternoons engaged till Saturday next (today a week), but [p. 2] the named day, 2d May, He should be more than pleased to come about 3 o'clock, if it would suite [sic] you.

His Highness' visit in Windsor today has prevented me from answering [un]til now.
