Fanny M. Du Quaire was a collector and social acquaintance of JW about 1885. She could possibly be a relation of the French lawyer Henry Du Quaire whose thesis was published in 1859.
Du Quaire attended JW's Ten O'Clock lecture in 1885 and described it to JW as 'perfect: incisive eloquent - wise - witty - new - never dragging for a minute' (#00977).
In 1893 Du Quaire lent drawings by John Downman R.A. to an exhibition for the benefit of the Parochial Women's Mission. In 1895 she was living at 14 Wilton Street.
