Morrice was a painter of portraits, sea-, land- and townscapes.
Morrice studied art in Paris, where he came under JW's influence. He was a member of the Socié Internationale de Peinture et Sculpture, Paris, when JW was an Honorary Member in 1901 (see #05498). His paintings were greatly influenced by JW in colour and composition, and, in some cases, in the handling of paint.
