Dear Mr Whistler,
We have seen our amateur who in all probability will take the 2 Proofs of "Finette" - Kindly send them per post as he may be absent from home before the end of the week & he is anxious to see them before he goes -

& other etchings we shall write you about on an early day - Two of our amateurs, not having seen the etchings here, have purchased them elsewhere -

We should be glad if you would leave these till the first week in January.
