My dear Vivian -
Most excellent! so that's all right - Mind you send me a couple of copies -
The Times published a résumé of it - and quoted some portions of [it] in full - and in French [p. 2] as it stood - Since then the entire letter has been printed in the "Indépendance Belge" - I must send it to you - It is absolutely perfect - and the ending of it leaves nothing further to [be] said upon the subject! -
Perhaps they might like to print it in the "Realm" - in its entirety in French - This might come in capitally if there were by chance, any letters written to the paper apropos of the Interview -
In that case of course I would say nothing about Times extract - Well we shall see -
When do you come back?
A bientot then I suppose -
J McNeill Whistler
Herbert Vivian. Esq.
