See N. Thierry to JW, #08732. JW forwarded Thierry's demand to Theodore Frederick Allingham (b. 1845), solicitor [more] (see T. Allingham to N. Thierry, #08959) with the comment: 'They have been very nice about this - and did once before stop proceedings and put off the matter on my asking them to do so - I must pay whenever I can' (#08732). However he seems to have been unable to pay off any part of the bill for £12. 7. 3. as Thierry's name appears on a list of creditors dating from around the time of his bankruptcy (#11926).
