[Glasgow emblem, with motto:] LET GLASGOW FLOURISH

CRAIBE ANGUS & SON,
FINE ART GALLERIES,
159, QUEEN STREET, GLASGOW.

9 August 1887.

Dear Sir,

The Propositions and the etchings[2] arrived this morning quite safely for which please accept our best thanks.

We regret the carelessness of our packer -

We have asked Mr Arthur[3] to call to see the etchings - we expect him to-morrow.

Our Senior Partner is in London and will call on you within the next day or two, if he has not already done so. He will explain to you the etchings we particularly want.

Yours faithfully

Craibe Angus & Son.

Since writing the above Mr Arthur has called - He asks us to keep the Proofs till the 16th inst. as he wishes to consult his catalogue as to the states of the Proofs he has - He says he will take 4 or 5 of them - He already has all those you sent, in various states - He does not return to his house till the 16th inst.
