William McNeill Whistler (1836-1900), physician, JW's brother [more]. Absent from London, JW asked him to handle arrangements for his impending lawsuit against E. C. Griffith over his tenancy of the Flemish Gallery, Pall Mall (see note below).
4. Galsworthy agreements and all letters
Probably Frederick Thomas Galsworthy (1827-1917), surveyor and land agent [more]. It is possible that JW asked for his opinion on the original memorandum of agreement with E. C. Griffith (#12146).
