Dear Mr Whistler

I have shown your letter to The Prince of Wales[2] -

His Rl. Hs. desires me to say that it will give him great pleasure to visit the Gallery of the Society of Arts[3] quietly on Monday [p. 2] morning next, the 4th of April, at ½ past 11 oclock.

This is H. R. H.'s only free day time - - He hopes the Princess[4] may be able to accompany him, but as Her Rl. Hs. leaves London for Sandringham [p. 3] with the Prince & Princesses that afternoon at 2 oclock, you must not be disappointed if Her Rl. Hs. is not able to go with the Prince to see the Pictures -

[v truly?]

D. M. Probyn.
