My dear Sir

I have received a check to complete the payment for the Venice Plates[2], as you wished -

In order that the whole matter may be formal perhaps the better place will be for you to bring the plates here and hand them over with [p. 2] the proofs which have been taken from them and we will in return hand you over your parcel of proofs and the check.

You will see that we have not charged you for interest, rent of "atelier" as the lady calls it, or any thing save the actual money advanced and the [p. 3] amount due to us for the 51 frames -

I am quite ready to hand over the room to you - for the purposes of your exhibition[3] - or rather shall be on the 1st of next month. I presume you do not want the room at 65 Regent St[4] keeping on.

Yours faithy

Marcus B Huish

Jas Whistler Esq
