This letter is a fragment, as the beginning of the letter appears to be missing. The first page is crossed through once with a large 'X'.
3. Dannat
Probably William Turner Dannat (1853-1929), artist [more]. Dannat was elected a member of the Society of British Artists in 1885. According to the catalogue, he exhibited at the 62nd Annual Exhibition, Society of British Artists, London, 1885 from an address in Paris.
4. Menpes
Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1860-1938), artist [more]. Menpes was successfully elected a member of the Society of British Artists and exhibited six works at the 62nd Annual Exhibition (cat. nos. 43; 667; 669; 680; 595; 674).
5. Sarasate
JW exhibited Arrangement in Black: Portrait of Señor Pablo de Sarasate (YMSM 315) at the 62nd Annual Exhibition (cat. no. 350). Its subject was Pablo de Sarasate y Navascues (1844-1908), violinist [more].
