Oh dear! I thought you had summoned us to see Lady A's picture[2] but I see you are showing - firing off fireworks[3] & you are harking back to wicked Cremorne[4].
I am really very sorry to hear that you have but these two

4. Cremorne
Nocturne: Black and Gold - The Fire Wheel (YMSM 169). JW exhibited this at the 7th Summer Exhibition, Grosvenor Gallery, London, 1883. The portrait of Lady Archibald was not exhibited until the following year (cat. no. 192).
5. Arry
Henry ('Arry') Quilter (1851-1907), advocate and art critic [more]. Quilter purchased JW's studio house, the 'White House', after his bankruptcy in 1879.
