I am asked by the International Art Exhibition of which Whistler is Chairman and Boldini an Hon. Member, if you know when he and his pictures may be expected to arrive here, for we are counting on his [p. 2] portraits, for one of our big successes, especially the Whistler. have the[y] yet left New York, and if not when are they coming[.] we are looking forward to seeing you in May. They the pictures should be here by the end of the month.
[p. 3] J. M. N. W. has had a bad go at the influenza in Paris. I dont know if you have heard.
Mrs. Pennell got your letter which was two months on the way[.] Hope you may get this ere N.Y. is destroyed.
