Hotel de Castille, 37 Rue Cambon

June first 1. Sunday, 1898.

Dear Sir,

Mr. Whistler informed me that you had no information about yo the Etchings you kindly sent to the Exhibition in Vienna[5] and I much regret that you have reason for complaint.

I have written to Vienna s to ask the council to send you some explanation about the Etchings by Mr. Whistler and why they are not in the Catalog.

I dare say they arrived too late for the first Edition of the Catalog.

Yours very truly

G. Sauter

Monsieur Kennedy.
