110. Rue du Bac. Paris

March 14.

My dear Mr Graham Robertson -

Now this time I do want you very much to lend your pictures -

You must acknowledge that I have not troubled you for years - and I quite admited [sic] all that you said about the Chicago business.

But this is for Antwerp[3] - There is to be, as I daresay you know, a [p. 2] great International affair there this May - and I have been specially invited - and I would, of all things, so much like to be represented by the Rosa Corder & your Pacific[4].

They would make a splendid show for both of us! - and you should be at peace afterwards for ages - I promise you -

Write me a line to say that they shall go and I will send all further details -

Besides I will find you something else to take their place while they are away - -

How is it you never come to Paris? - This I take for granted as you have never been to see us.

How did you like the seapieces[5] I sent to the Grafton? -

And Albert Moore[6]! - how sad it all was. You ought to see Baldry[7] and help him with all you remember - for the life he is [p. 3] writing of Moore -

With kindest regards and remembrances from us both to your Mother & yourself
Very sincerely

J. McNeill Whistler

[p. 2] Mind you[8] this Antwerp Exhibition is most important - or I wouldn't persist in this way -

It means a good deal to me!
