This is an invitation to the preview of JW's solo exhibition, 'Notes' - 'Harmonies' - 'Nocturnes', Second Series, Messrs Dowdeswell, London, 1886 (see #09509 for a similar card). The works included 75 oils, watercolours, pastels and drawings and a catalogue designed by JW. The gallery was decorated in a scheme of brown and gold.
