Meantime I am sending today four new proofs lithographs:

The picture itself is in the Exposition Internationale at Antwerp^[6] - which instead of interfering with its sale ought rather to increase its value - I was unanimously to have been proposed by the Jury for the grande médaille d'honneur - only the rules happened to limit the date of painting - which required that works should have been painted since the last exhibition - This put the Sarasate just out of the competition - and I was ranked "Hors Concours" -
