Some of the new things[3] are charming if you will - that is they have come out as I meant they should - nearly - - The others have not come off the stone so well - — I have sent a new one - We shall see -
I dont know what you meant when you said you had "never seen anything like" the "Carmen[4]" -
If you go into the Grosvenor you will see the Miss Alexander[5]. That is like the Carmen - exactly - So is the Nocturne[6] you are going to reproduce - So is the picture[7] in the Luxembourg Gallery - and so is the portrait[8] that was at Goupils lately - only that the Carmen is finer - It will of course take years for the[9] people to find this out! -
