Dear Sir:
I take pleasure to enclose a checque [sic] on Lazard Brothers & Co. for £184. 12. 1. in payment for the etchings[2] I bought yesterday.
Refering [sic] to our arrangement for the exhibition[3] of your drawings I beg leave to suggest that Watercolors and pastels representing subjects similar to your newest etchings will be the most saleable, also send us the sizes for the frames as early as possible so that we can have them ready on time.
Yours respectfully
Hermann Wunderlich
Amount of etchings purchased yesterday £186. 5. 8. less error in last invoice on Charing cross Bridge 1. 13. 7. £184. 12. 1
I find on looking over the etchings that they are not numbered and as I do not remember the subjects I should be obliged to you if you would have the bill and the etchings numbered.
