My dear Mr. Hanson
Send all the papers after this to Durand Ruel[4] in Paris - you know - the address.
The master[5] says - go to Mr. Hurlbert[6] - and tell him he has been awarded a gold medal at the Triennial Exhibition[7] of painting here - it is very rarely given to a foreigner and is considered a great honour - It was given for the whole of his exhibit - Say Mr. Whistler thought he would like to know - before it gets into the London press - Dont mention it to anyone else
Is there any news - there are no art notes any more in the N Y H[8], I wonder if the Fords[9] are [p. 2] off it?
Yours always sincerely
Beatrix Whistler -
Have you found any thing[10] -
