TELEGRAMS, - BOUSSOD, LONDON.
London
5 March 1892.
Dear Sir,
Rawlinson[2]. As the picture[3] is on its way & has been sent in a case which was going at any rate will you kindly look at it & tell us what you think. Its condition as at present is a little to the detriment of your pictures in general for people might think they will all go this way.
[p. 2] The Fur Jacket[4]. Many thanks for having it sent.
Lady Meux[5]. Do you require the glass kept on this for the New Salon? It will make the carriage to Paris very costly
Honble Mrs Wyndham[6]. We are informing Richards[7]
Catalogue. The quotation is charming! We shall prepare the list in print as you require with plenty margins.
Posters. We send you the first pull of Ways[8] idea. Kindly say as soon as possible how you like it.
Modern Painters[9]. Vol. I is being sent [p. 3] to you to-day. The others will follow. Enclosed are notes of some apt quotations the idea being to show that Ruskin[10] & Whistler really started with the same ideas that Whistler kept faithful to them & Ruskin went in for Pre-Raphaelitism[,] Mr Frith[11] & all that superficial stuff.
Please keep these volumes for me as they were a personal present
Yours faithfully
