Pray let my father's 'Balcony' picture be exhibited at the Paris International Exposition, since you wish it - But he feels, as we all do, that it is a little trying to be without the picture for so long - I am sure that you will return it to us as early as possible after closure of the Exposition - With every hope [p. 2] that the engraving & exhibition of the picture may be advantageous to yourself
