ARTHUR LESLIE COLLIE[2],
PUBLISHER OF SCULPTURE.
39B OLD BOND STREET,
LONDON. W.
11th Jan 92
Dear Mr Whistler.
I called this morning to see the portrait at the Goupil gallery[3] but was informed by the manager[4] that it had gone off to Paris.
Regarding the proposed show of pastels[5], we think the best day to fix for the private view would be Sat. 23rd April. Regarding the terms we thought 20%. on the sales we doing the printing advertising for which we should expect to recoup ourselves [p. 2] by the gate money.
Kindly write us confirming this with any comment you may have to make thereon -
Yours faithfully
Alex Reid.
