Dear Mr Poole -
You know of this most important great Exhibition at Münich[3], where I am meaning to be well represented, having been specially invited -
Of course, on this occasion, you must not be omitted, as the charming owner of some of my most prized works[4]! -
However you were so good last year, and there are now others to cooperate by their loans, that I will only ask for two - [p. 2] the water colours, "Harmony in Violet & Yellow" (girl seated in yellow room) and the little "Arrangement in Black" - (girl seated against black background with hat & feather on her knee)
Do, if you can, let Mr Hanson[5] bring these back with him - as time presses and the people are waiting -
Put your own value upon them and they will be insured -
I should be delighted if you would come down tomorrow afternoon morning at about half past ten or eleven - to my new studio,
Tower House,
Tite Street -
Chelsea
and see what I am going to send - as they must be off before the end of the week -
with many thanks
Always sincerely
J McN. Whistler
