Dear Mr Vanderbilt.
Mr Whistler wishes me to write to you for him to say that he has not forgotten what you told him about the "Little London Sparrow"[4] and that over the you will he is sending it in a day or two, directly the varnish is dried.
[p. 2] He was sorry to hear about the finger marks on the glass of the oval and has sent over to have the pictures[5] attended to
