Howell old man that Valparaiso[3] ought to be framed without a moments delay if it is to go into the Grosvenor[4] - and I should never forgive you if it didn't - Will you have it done at once - or will you send it to Foord & Dickenson[5] from me - and I will give them the order - Send it there with word to wait for my order - If you like I will call [p. 2] at Miss Corder's [6] tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at about 9 or so -

Although this letter is dated 'May 1879' by C. A. Howell, it must date from about the last week of April, since exhibits for the Grosvenor Gallery would be needed for May.
