Le Président et Comité de l'Exposition d'Art Internationale ont l'honneur de vous inviter a contribuer vos oeuvres à l'Exposition. Les exposants sont invités par le choix du Comité. Le nombre d'ouvrages envoyés ne sera pas restraint; mais comme l'espace est trés limité le Comité, tout en désirant de rendre justice aux Artistes invités, ne peut pas promettre d'accrocher plus qu'un tableau, de chaque exposant.
Vous êtes prié en envoyant votre adhésion à cette invitation d'ajouter, la grandeur et le genre d'ouvrage que vous vous disposez à envoyer nous espérons que vu l'importance et l'objet de l'Exposition vous enverrez votre oeuvre la plus conséquente.

SECONDE EXPOSITION - DE L'ÉTÉ, 1899.
AVIS AUX EXPOSANTS ET LES CONDITIONS DE L'EXPOSITION.
I. - Toutes les oeuvres destinées à l'Exposition doivent etre delivrées a la Gallerie franco, sans caisse a l'un des jours fixés, pour leur réception, une lettre d'avis doit étre envoyée au Secrétaire, donnant les titres et les prix (cadres compris) pour être inscrits dans le catalogue - l'adresse de l'artiste et le titre du tableau amisi que le numéro, correspondant dans la lettre d'avis, doit être inscrit a l'envers du cadre. ainsi que sur une étiquette suspendue au cadre par une ficelle pour faciliter le classement du catalogue.
II. - Sur toutes les oeuvres vendues à l'Exposition par les Artistes eux mémes ou par le Secrétaire une commission de 10 per cent. sera prélevée sur le prix reçu par l'artiste. Toute vente sera négotiée par le Secrétaire de l'Exposition, et inscrit dans un registre spécial. tout acheteur doit déposer au secrétaire 20 per cent. sur le prix d'achat et donner le reste de la somme à la fin de l'Exposition.
III. - Le Secrétaire doit être averti de toutes ventes de tableaux, sans cela une vente effectuée par le Secrétaire de la Société sera seule valable.
IV. - Bien que le Comité s'efforce à ce que le plus grand soin soit pris des oeuvres d'Arts envoyées a l'Exposition il ne peut se rendre responsable, d'aucune perte ou accident provenant d'insuffisant emballage, d'incendie, ou d'accident d'aucune sorte ou de toute autre cause, pendant que les oeuvres sont a l'Exposition, ou pendant le voyage d'aller et retour.
V. - Les oeuvres d'art placées a l'Exposition ne peuvent étre enlevées qu'à la fin de l'Exposition.
[p. 3] VI. - Avant la fin de l'exposition tout exposant recevra une forme imprimée pour la livraison de ses oeuvres cette forme doit être remplie et signée par l'Artiste et presentée par la personne envoyée pour chercher l'oeuvre, et il en donnera un reçu dans un livre placé là a cet effet, aucune oeuvre ne sera delivrée sans la production de cet ordre. Le Comité ne se charge d'aucun emballage ni de transport.
VII. - Toutes les oeuvres doivent être retirées six jours après la fermeture de l'exposition.
Les jours de reception sont le 13, 14, et 15 Avril.

DEAR SIR,
The President and the International Art Exhibition Committee are honoured to invite you to contribute your works to the exhibition. The exhibitors are invited after being selected by the committee. The number of works sent will not be restricted; but since space is very limited the Committee, whilst wishing to do justice to the invited artists, cannot promise to display more than one painting, from each exhibitor.
We would request that you indicate the size and type of work that you intend to send when you reply to inform us of your participation. We hope that in light of the importance and the objective of this exhibition you will send your most consequential work.

SECOND EXHIBITION - SUMMER, 1899.
NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS AND CONDITIONS OF EXHIBITION.
I. - All works destined for the exhibition must be delivered to the franco Gallery, without a case on one of the days designated for their reception, a letter of notice must be sent to the secretary, giving the titles and the prices (including frames) to be written in the catalogue - the address of the artist and the title of the painting as well as the number, corresponding to the notice letter, must be written on the reverse side of the frame as well as on a ticket hanging from the frame to facilitate cataloguing.
II. - On all works sold at the exhibition by the artists themselves or by the secretary a commission of 10 per cent will be deducted from the sum received by the artist. All sales will be negociated by the secretary of the exhibition, and written in a special register. All buyers must leave a 20 per cent deposit with the secretary. On the price of the purchase and give the rest of the sum at the end of the exhibition.
III. - The secretary must be notified of all sales of paintings, otherwise any sale made by the secretary will be the only one which is valid.
IV. - Although the committee will make every effort to ensure that the greatest care is taken of works of art sent to the exhibition it cannot be held responsible, for any loss or damage resulting from poor packaging, fire or any kind of accident or any other cause, whilst the works are at the exhibition, or during the journeys to and from the exhibition.
V. - Art works placed in the exhibition cannot be removed until the end of the exhibition.
VI. - Before the end of the exhibition all exhibitors will receive a printed form for the delivery of their works. This form must be completed and signed by the artist and presented by the person sent to collect the work, and he will eventually provide a receipt in a book provided for this purpose, no work will be handed over without the production of this paper. The committee takes no responsibility for either packing or transportation.
VII. - All the works must be removed within six days of the exhibition's closure.
The reception days are the 13th, 14th and 15th of April.
